Returns Policy
Due to the specialised nature of robotics products, all sales are final. Please review our policy below for details on damaged or defective items.
Return Overview
In line with Unitree's manufacturer policy, MCM Robotics does not accept returns on any products due to the specialised nature of robotics equipment. All sales are considered final. However, if your product arrives damaged or defective, our team will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us right away so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.
Damaged in Transit — If your product arrives with visible damage to the packaging or the unit itself, document the damage with photos and contact us immediately upon delivery.
Manufacturing Defects — Products received with manufacturing defects will be evaluated by our team in coordination with Unitree. Eligible claims may result in a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
Wrong Product Delivered — If you receive the wrong item, we'll arrange a return and send the correct product at no additional cost to you.
All Sales Are Final
Due to the specialised and high-value nature of robotics products, we do not accept returns for any reason other than confirmed damage or defects on arrival. This includes but is not limited to:
- ✕ Change of mind, buyer's remorse, or products no longer needed
- ✕ Products that have been used, activated, powered on, or show signs of wear
- ✕ Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, unauthorised modifications, or disassembly
- ✕ Damage caused by running custom programs in developer mode
- ✕ Damage caused by environmental factors (water, sand, extreme conditions)
- ✕ Custom-configured, special-order, or sale items
How to Report a Damaged or Defective Product
Inspect Upon Arrival
Carefully inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Document any damage or defects with clear photos and/or video of the product and its packaging.
Contact Us Immediately
Email info@mcmrobotics.co.za with your order/quote number, a description of the issue, and photos or video evidence. The sooner you report, the faster we can resolve it.
Evaluation & Resolution
Our team will evaluate your claim in coordination with Unitree. If the product is confirmed defective or damaged in transit, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.
Shipping for Repairs
If the product needs to be shipped back, the customer is responsible for initial shipping costs. If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, MCM Robotics will cover the cost of repair, parts, and return shipping.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel an order before it has shipped, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds for pre-delivery cancellations will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow time for your financial institution to process the refund.
Once an order has shipped or been delivered, cancellations are no longer possible and the all-sales-final policy applies.
Important Notes
- Do not ship any product back without first contacting our team and receiving authorisation.
- Product maintenance or repair may result in data loss — please back up your data before sending any product in for service.
- Seriously damaged batteries cannot be returned for safety reasons and will be disposed of.
